“Our boy Felix gelled with Lucy instantly. So did we! She speaks to children in the same present, honest way as to adults. On her first visit to our house, Lucy kneeled down to Felix’s level to introduce herself to him then immediately started playing with him. She quickly became Felix’s best buddy. 

Knowing Lucy’s interest in babies and birth and despite the fact we had met only a few weeks before, I suggested Lucy be at my birth to help (we had planned a home birth). Of course nothing went as planned but she did come to help my partner put the house in order and tidy up the birth room while I was recovering in hospital with my new baby. 

We leaned on Lucy as we would a trusted friend. She became part of our family in no time. We haven’t found anyone else with such genuine connection to children and holistic care for new parents. Secretly we wish she comes back to Wellington and be part of our village again!”
